I'm currently a MIDN on the full Navy scholarship but would like to transfer to Marine Option. How would one go about this? What are the requirements? I know the immediate answer is to talk to my MOI but it's a bit complex. Although I score outstanding on my Navy PRT, I struggle with the Marines' PFT. I am working on my PFT score and do not want to let my MOI know that I am considering this transfer until I am capable.
Basically, I want to be able to score a 300 PFT and CFT before I transfer because it would be unfair of me to transfer my scholarship but not have to put forth the same effort of the college program MIDN who work so hard to get the scholarship. I want to be able to show why I deserve to be where I am.
This situation has been plaguing me for a while now and any information I can get would really help put me at ease.
