NROTC Nurse Option 2011

I applied for scholarship and chose the Nursing option.
I checked my status page this morning and it was blank, and then I checked again a few minutes ago and it was back at "No decision has been made."

I was wondering if anyone has heard anything or received a NROTC Nursing scholarship recently?

My DD applied as well for NROTC Nurse Option and has heard nothing. Status page has said the same thing for months.
 
My friend got a Nurse Option Scholarship back in October or November.
 
I'm not sure if this is an option with the Navy but my daughter applied for Army ROTC last year (Nursing major as well). We were told by (2) separate schools that even if she didn't get awarded an ROTC scholarship, they were going to get her in with a special fund that is set aside for nursing applicants only.

I'm not sure how it works exactly but obviously the school has to specifically request the money and inform cadet command that they want you. We never had to go thru the process as my daughter was awarded the scholarship in the 2nd round last year.

Maybe call the NROTC advisors at the schools you have applied to and ask if they have the same program?
