NROTC Officer has to be a NROTC Officer, someone who is an officer at a ROTC unit.

So I have a question about this - do I proactively reach out to my NROTC first choice college (I have already been accepted) and schedule my NROTC officer interview or do I wait until my NROTC scholarship coordinator tells me to?
I am actually a little confused. Everything is done and submitted.

According to multiple NROTC websites, a candidate for the NROTC National scholarship can schedule an interview with a commissioned officer at any NROTC unit.
