Good evening all,
This post is just a friendly piece of advice for anyone currently competing for an NROTC scholarship. My portal currently reads "Application has been submitted online Your electronic application has been received and is being processed ..." with no items listed under the "Items waiting to be processed" list.
Since my recruiter had indicated that my package was complete and had been cleared to go in front of the first board I assumed the portal was just late to update. HOWEVER, when I checked in with Pensacola last week I was alerted to the fact that my package was in fact not board ready.
Moral of the story- double-check with Pensacola if the NROTC portal does specifically state that you are board ready. I just wanted to alert anyone who may be in the same boat as me so they can reach out and check their status before they miss another board.
