I'm awaiting my NROTC scholarship decision, status "No decision has been made on your application." I've already been accepted to all my schools for mechanical engineering. Still waiting on my application decision for the USNA and USMMA (Hold Status).
My goal is to go Active Duty Navy and my question relates to my plan B College Option. If I understand correctly, I can reapply for an NROTC scholarship as a college freshman 2nd semester or in my sophomore year, 3 year scholarship. When reapplying as a college student does the NROTC still look at SAT/ACT scores or as a college student just your college grades? I currently have an ACT Math=29, English=30 SAT equivalent 1370. I'm trying to determine if I should take the ACT's again to strengthen my application if I don't receive an NROTC scholarship this year as a high school senior.
Any advice greatly appreciated
