Hello,

SAT - 1500 out of 1600
Class rank - in top couple people of class of 140.
10 AP Courses.
Student body Vice President + chairman of athletic council.
Multi-Sport Athlete
Mile time - 5:20
Crunches - 60
Push-ups - 22

My biggest problem is my push-ups. Is there still a chance I'll get the scholarship if my push-ups are so poor?

I just want to say that your mile time is insane!!!

Unfortunately no one on this site can say for certain if you will be selected.

However, pushups are quite often an issue of technique over brute strength. Suggest positioning your hands in close so they are aligned with your armpits in the down position. And be sure to keep your elbows in close to your body. This will force you to stop when your triceps are parallel to the deck and allow you to conserve energy and maximize output.

DS made this simple change and it made all the difference. He started with a lean runners upper body in high school and now pumps off 100+.
