NROTC Selection Question

My netfocus just changed to " The NSTC Selection/Placement Office has received your application."
Selection Status: No Decision has been made on your application.
Does this mean that I'm at the last stage before selection?

Don't know if this is the last step you see in the application or not. I did want to remind you that you may not hear one way or the other until April. If you are not selected by a board you are just automatically rolled over to the next board. There is no notification until you either receive a scholarship, or are not selected towards the end of the cycle (normally). Patience is the order of the day. Keep working alternate plans.

DS got that same message. I think it means that they got rolled into the next board.

It means that your application is at the review board. It is the final status until your application is either awarded a scholarship or denied. The status does not / will not change when your application is reviewed. Yes, you are early, it is quite possible that your application will be reviewed by the first board. It is also quite possible that your application will be reviewed and then stay in the queue till April. Lets hope for an early scholarship award.

My application was submitted and received and being processed, per my recruiter. But my status states "Application has been submitted online Your electronic application has been received and is being processed ..."

Does this mean it is not at the selection stage yet? Any idea why as it was submitted and received?

Based on DD's experience last year, it is the last step before the scholarship is awarded or denied. It will continue to roll over to each Board until possibly April. Like @5Day said, keep working on all of your other applications, Plan B and relax. As DD's NROTC recruiter also said, "It's the government and the wheels sometime grind slowly. Even if you are denied, you have to keep asking, asking, asking... Perseverance means a lot to the military so don't give up hope!" I also think it's part of the mental toughness and patience that you begin to learn along the way. I wish you the best and hope that it is granted to you soon!
