NROTC sideload board updates....

Congratulations folks... and as you post the good news it might be interesting to know if it's Navy Option or Marine Option. Color me curious.

I believe (according to DS) Marine option scholarships were awarded in April/ May. I believe all Gamecock Marine options received scholarships! All were well deserved! Their LT has stated he has not received notification yet regarding As/ scholarships. Fingers crossed and positive thoughts for all still waiting to hear!
 
Advanced standing. I will take it. Big relief. Now waiting on waiver. my understanding I will not get monthly stipend until I get my waiver. My question is if I don't hear until December do they prorate the stipend from start of school.

DS received waiver last December. Stipends were not paid until Spring Semester. Congratulations to you and all who have secured a path to commissioning.

EDIT: DS returns home from CORTRAMID tomorrow.

There is no "back-pay" on the stipend. When your waiver comes through you will contract at that time and the stipend will begin from that date. Hope the waiver comes through soon for you. I know every little bit helps. Congrats on the Advanced Standing!
 
Does anyone know anything about the 3-year sideload? I haven’t heard anything about whether I got it or not, so I’m going to go with my gut and say that I didn’t receive it.
