same... good luck !!!!On my nrotc application it says my application is at CNRC for additional processing, is that a good thing? And what does that mean?
My stats werent out of this world but actually quite average imo. 1310 SAT and 3.5 UW gpa. I honestly think (if i had to guess) it was my ECs and other things that got me in as well as interview and LORs. From SoCal 1st school choice is Georgetown University. Feel free to pm me if you have any more questions! Can you guys give your stats, area, 1st choice school etc.? Hoping DS still gets an email but not looking likely since it seems they are out this board. Congratulations to all. Very exciting day.

Congrats to your son! But there is plenty of time right?Awesome. I am hopeful for son, but if not it’s not meant to be and that’s ok. He has USCGA acceptance for ‘military” and likes that, so if that s what presents itself than he could be way worse off. Waiting on a bunch of others. I am a member of a scholarship committee and always give a lot of credit to the Girl scouts who stick with it with their bronze, silver, gold awards and Eagle Scouts etc. Where do you want to go? (School wise?)
Moving on, for those who know from other years, (daughter was selected in first board so I don’t know how it works otherwise), do they all come out at once so we should just quit checking portal and move on to January‘s hopeful list? Or do they trickle out? Thanks all and well done to those selected. For those who don’t know yet, keep fingers crossed.
Thank you very much! Hoping your DS recieves a scholarship as well in the near futureGood for you.I’m sure you are far above average. Thanks for the update. Good luck with Georgetown.
I agree so much. My son’s high school college counselor didn’t want students taking tests early and he always would take one each year (ACT though) just for practice. I saw no harm but think sometimes that the schools like to increase their range of average ACT‘SAT and if you are winging it or practicing it, it can skew the results. Anyway, many of his friends were in a bad way. He fortunately had a high ACT (35) so it saved him this year. You are so right in that you just never know what may be around the corner. Contingency plans are so important. My daughter’s good friend loved Carnegie Mellon and now has her PHD in Mechanical Engineering. Very good school.Congrats to your son! But there is plenty of time right?
I had started my Gold Award. My project was teaching girls self-defense (using my karate background) and as part of it, required teaching some classes in person. Unfortunately with the pandemic, the entire chapter shut down so I couldn't even see if I could change directions and do something online, and I essentially ran out of time to get it back on track once things started opening again. I love Girl Scouts! As a recruited athlete though, seeking to attend high academic schools, the best advice I ever got was to take my SATs in my sophomore year just to be sure I was targeting the right schools. The advice ended up being even better than what I had thought given my junior year was consumed by a pandemic, so I feel very fortunate to have had that going for me. And I would tell anyone reading this who is younger, don't take the SATs unless you plan to study first. It's a waste to go and "see how you do" and you never know when something might happen (like a pandemic) and you won't be able to retake at some later point!
My school choice is Carnegie Mellon.
Good luck to your son and wish him receive a scholarship from the next board! Can you guys give your stats, area, 1st choice school etc.? Hoping DS still gets an email but not looking likely since it seems they are out this board. Congratulations to all. Very exciting day.
My DS seeing this in his portal "Your application is at Naval Education and Training Command for final processing and selection determination." Is that the same thing as CNRC? Just not sure if his package was part of this last Board or not.
