NROTC Summer Cruise

My son has not heard anything regarding his 1/C summer cruise yet. He requested an aviation cruise since he's hoping to get a pilot slot. He took the ASTB this morning and scored 8 8 7 with a 65 OAR.

He requested late cruise due to summer school so he may not hear anything for a while.

DS is headed to San Diego next week for CORTRAMID - received his travel information today! He is very excited, and especially after being really bummed when NSI was cancelled last summer.

My son is there as well...I think he's doing lots of running today!

Sounded like they got slapped around with a welcome PRT but after that it seems to have fallen in to past descriptions that I’ve read about CORTRAMID being a monthlong vacation.

Daughter got a flight suit issued and she seems convinced she’ll get an Osprey ride and time on a sub - her two must haves in her mind.

The visiting midshipmen are having fun and eating well on base and off. Guess they perhaps deserve it with crappy COVID senior HS and college freshman years.
