Does anyone else understand how to use the uniform spread sheet? It says I need to email my sizes in, but what if I'm between sizes? Would a tailor know this if I took it to them?

Go to a tailor to get measured. More than likely they are using these to help get the right sizes in stock or ensure there is enough stock in certain sizes. You will try your uniforms on and more than like I need to do some tailoring once you get them so they fit within regs.

I have also been having a lot of issues trying to use the spreadsheet. Could anybody tell me which program to open it with? Google Spreadsheet doesn't have all of the sheets and the dropdown aren't working properly for me and Numbers isn't filling things in correctly.

First off - congrats to those who were awarded scholarships to date. Huge accomplishment ! My son was notified about 10 days ago that he was selected for the 4-Year NROTC-MO scholarship. He's received info on medical exams and NSI dates and so forth, however, nothing regarding the excel uniform spreadsheet. Can someone tell me where that document will come from? or where to go to download? Thanks

I have the same issue. I think I'm just gonna write down every measurement they need and then go to a tailor and get them measured. If the drop down menu doesn't work they said we could scan it so I'll just print it out, write it in pen, and scan and email it back to them.

Its an excel spreadsheet so probably need excel to work properly. And there is a sheet that specifically says PRINT AND TAKE TO TAILOR. We printed it and went to the tailor and he filled it out. Cool side story his son was in the Corps of Cadets at Texas A&M. when he found out what DS was getting measured for he waved his $15 fee. Whoop!

My DS received one that only had 'female' drop-down options as well... so if you run into that error, be sure to email/talk back to your HRA to get the correct gender-specific form before submitting. It's definitely not user-friendly.

Last year DS received one uniform item with his name already on it: the working blouse. It’s real now, wicked cool. But the packing list also included bringing a sharpie ‘cause other than that blouse, everyone’s stuff looks the same! Congratulations all!

Is anyone else having these issues? For the last chart on the welcome page (the second trouser chart) my size doesn't exist. My waist is 31 inches and my hips are 33, but the smallest hip measurement on the chart for a 31 inch waist is 42 inches. Also, for the men's formal shirt there isn't a size chart. It shows the various neck circumference and height combinations, but when I find the correct combination, there aren't any sizes written down. I emailed my school but any help would be appreciated.

Did he receive info regarding NSI and medical exams, etc via USPS or email ? Does info give a choice on NSI session 1 or 2 in the documentation ? Thanks ! Anticipating the same documentation.

I'm having the same worries (female). I am between tall and extra tall. Tall is going to be too short but extra tall will be too long. Same with the waist sizes. One will be too big, another too small. Size up and have it tailored down?

I helped my DS complete it since he didn't have excel (amazing how that's the case these days!). You print out the second worksheet and bring to tailor (or whomever will do measurements). You then use these 12 measurements and complete the first worksheet labelled "Welcome page". Complete all the "yellow" sections. After completing yellow sections, go into the other worksheets and fill in the boxes at the bottom using the charts provided.

Thank you for the reply. When I fill everything out, my summary pages are all messed up. Should I just not worry about that and send it in with all of the charts filled out?

I'd recommend sending it back in the correct format/layout. Remember that your admin has ALOT of these to handle so you don't want to make their job any tougher. Perhaps starting over with a fresh download of the file and completing it again will get it right.
