NROTC Uniforms?

I'm going to start NROTC this year. I was wondering, what uniforms do mids wear generally? Is it generally the khakis? When is it summer whites (are there specific dates?) or the NWU?

At my son's unit, they wear khakis one day a week and a unit polo the alternate day. They only wear summer whites for a summer whites inspection and for participating in commissioning in the spring. They will wear MARPATs or NWU's only in the armory -- never on campus.

Depends on the unit. My son's unit only wears uniforms on Tues. It is khakis most of the time until winter and then they were cammies. Whites are only for inspection.

Khakis once a week is going to be the common answer across all units. NWUs, Summer Whites, and SDBs will be mixed in occasionally.
