My DS just transferred his 4 year NROTC scholarship to UT. He is very excited and I wanted to know if anyone in this forum have any information about Texas NROTC?

    Thanks for any info.

One of America's greatest special operations commanders, Admiral McRaven (the guy who helped command the seal team 6 raid on the towel-head named bin-laden) came commissioned from UT NROTC.

Best of luck to your DS; I'm a four-year scholarship winner to UIUC.

All the ROTC units at UT share a relatively new, nice home in the middle of campus - the Liberal Arts bldg.

It's the best public, if not the best, university in Texas. He'll have to share it with a fair number of unwashed pinkos, but it's a great place.
