My d received a medical waiver from NROTC today, but her real goal is USNA. Is there any real possibility of NOT also getting a waiver from USNA, or is it time for us to break out the bubble wrap, nomex suits, etc.?

First, congrats on the NROTC waiver. There is always a possibility that a waiver will be granted for one and not the other. It doesn't happen frequently, but I have seen it happen so I know its not impossible.

Most likely, if it was granted for NROTC is will be granted for USNA as well.

Congrats on the waiver!
If I may what was the waiver for?

She had allergies to mold that was rampant in the building where I used to work, and the symptoms seemed like asthma (and were diagnosed as such). However, she's been symptom-free since I left that job. Trouble is, that didn't happen until after 13th B-day, hence the initial DQ. Remedials proved her case!

My son received an ROTC waiver but was told by USMA that it would be much more difficult to get one from them. But then lo and behold, he did. It's possible!

waiver

My waiver was denied for NROTC as of Friday 2/29. Still showing pending for USNA, I understand it is the same waiver authorities so are my chances not good? I have a LOA pending waiver for USNA. I never requested my medical report from DODMERB. Is that possible? What are my chances for an appeal. I went to my eye doc and can correct to 20/40 but not 20/20.
I have two vision DQ's and nothing else. Anisometopia in excess of 3.5 diopters (I'm at -5.75 in left eye, okay it right) and visual acuity not correctable to 20/20 in each eye.
Am planning a trip out to USNA on 3/11, am I to late? Any suggestions would help.
Thanks

Sorry, I missed this post earlier.

Getting a waiver for both the disqualifications that you mention will be very difficult. It never hurts to try, but in my experience just one of the disqualifications, especially the fact that you are only correctable to 20/40 in the one eye, are difficult to obtain waivers for.
