NSI Travel Question and Transferring Schools

Hello all,

I recently decided to pursue the NROTC route but have questions regarding changing host schools and arranging travel to and from NSI. I understand that the host school that you have been assigned to is responsible for arranging travel to and from NSI, however, if I do not plan to attend my host school, should I still send in the information regarding travel information? Or should I wait until I have fully transferred/committed to a different university?

Please ensure you read the email(s) sent to you by Naval Service Training Command. They answer most questions and include an email address for any other questions. People on the forums here will give you their best advice but things change very quickly this time of year.

Waiting to submit travel information is usually not a good idea. You can always explain your are requesting a transfer to whichever school and that will be factored into the travel plan.
