O-week

Hey guys! I'm currently going to be a senior next year in high school and I applied for the Navy scholarship. I'm just wondering what o-week is like. Specifically for Penn State and Purdue. Is it normal for new students to fail the first pt test? Also I heard o-week had become less intense than it was a few years ago since the orientation is run a different way so it became easier in a way. Is there an exact schedule for what orientation is like?

Can't speak to those specific schools but O-week varies by the school. No two schools run it the same way and they can be very very different.

I'm heading off to zero week for AROTC in about a week and a half. I can give you a good idea about what it's like for the Army after that, but you will probably already have someone answer your question with more depth by then.
