DD has a 4-yr ROTC scholarship and was asked to provide counseling notes from visits when she was 14 and having some fears about death. We had never seen them and got them back with a listed diagnosis of OCD. We both actually laughed at the diagnosis — because there is no way she has OCD (which she studied in neuroscience). She was never on medication and saw the counselor 4 times in a 5 week period, learned about mindfulness, and never had to see a counselor again. (I’ve read that counselors / this was not a psychiatrist / often include a dx so insurance will cover the visit).
Is there any chance she will get a waiver?
