October Review Board Army ROTC

Talk to your PMS - he will give you a good indication of how much involvement there is at the battalion.

ROTC is definitely lower key than West Point - there are pros and cons to both.
 
Yeah true, my MALO said Drexel has a good ROTC program, I am also applying to Penn State.

Just out of curiosity, does anyone know yet how many scholarships were awarded from the October AROTC Boards? According to a respondent on the goarmy site, a PMS from one applicant's top college choice said there were 200 packets reviewed and 92 scholarships awarded from the September Board.
 
My AROTC scholarship status says:

Does anybody know if this is a good thing? My DoDMERB is on remedial status currently?

We have the same thing....it's killing my son....
 
Right before my status changed to saying that I had been offered the scholarship it said that I could check my qualification through dodmerb. The next day it said You have been offered an Army ROTC Scholarship, pending medical qualification from Department of Defense Medical Examination Review Board (DODMERB)
 
NOV AROTC Board Dates

Anyone know of the NOV board dates for AROTC, son has completed file just waiting to hear. Online status check still shows he has qualified for an interview, but this has been completed Thanks and good luck to all.
 
I am not sure of the exact date but I have heard of some people recieving scholarships a couple days ago. The PMS at Drexel told methere is no December board...
 
Air Force ROTC question about Scholarship rejection.

My son was not offered a scholarship from the November AFROTC board. Does this mean that he will not be eligible for the future boards? Can he still improve his application?
 
Gak Dad,

He will still be eligible for the two remaining boards. About the only way to improve a score is to submit improved ACT/SAT test results.

If you are talking about Army, these were the dates originally established by CC (it's difficult to tell what you're trying to say since you are tacking onto the end of a REALLY old thread):

1st High School Selection Board 21-Oct-13
2nd High School Selection Board 6-Jan-14
Final (3rd) High School Selection Board 10-Mar-14

However, due to the gov't shutdown, the first board was bumped back to 11/4/13. Therefore, I don't know if the delay in the date of the first board has affected the 2nd & 3rd board dates. Nevertheless, you've missed the deadline for submitting the application for the 1st board. If you get busy, you can easily meet the 2nd board.

I wouldn't be able to speak to the Navy/Marine or Air Force boards.
