Why does it say "Offer Extended" for my admission status to USMMA when I never finished my application? I only completed the online application. For the USNA which I completed entirely it still says "In progress" for my admission status. Could it be an error and it was really meant for USNA?

My guess is that it's an LOA (or similar - I don't know what MMA does). My son knew several people who got LOA's from WP before their files were complete and his LOA's also showed up this way at some point. So I would think you had enough in that they offered you an appointment assuming you finished your application (and everything was to their satisfaction) and got a nom. Surprised that you wouldn't have heard about it though by now!
The In Progress just means that you're still waiting like most other candidates right now. I supposed it could be a mistake meant for the wrong academy - you could always contact Larry Mullen at Dodmerb and see what he could fin out for you - but I think they tend to be very careful about making mistakes like that!

Where does it say "In Progress" for navy. Never saw that.
Go to the DoDMERB website: https://dodmerb.tricare.osd.mil/default.asp You will get a warning that there is a problem with the website's security certificate, just click on "continue to this website".
