Offer of Appt final date

My DS has received an offer from the USNA back in January. Still waiting to hear from USAF. He’s waiting to make his decision (which will be a yes) until he here’s from USAF. When is the final date that all the first round offers go out? I realize if someone doesn’t accept that you could be hearing from them as late as May. Anyone have any suggestions of when he should assume that he probably won’t be receiving an offer of appointment?

Hard to say . . . can vary each year . . . depends on the appointment startegy the SA admissions is using . . .

Congrats on your DS' USNA appt . . . don't tell USNA he is waiting to hear from USAFA . . . make sure he complies with any and all USNA instructinos and deadlines so he doesn't lose the appointment . . .

You might have your DS verbally contact USAFA Admissions and respectfully inquire on the status of his file . . . he could, very humbly and respectfully, let the USAFA Admissions rep know that he has received an appointment to another SA (don't have to say who) but he was waiting to hear from USAFA . . . I don't think your DS would have anything to lose.
