HELLO! Did you click 'accept'? You have to seize the opportunity when it presents itself. Go, go, go!
 
Congratulations - MOCs are normally given the opportunity to break the news - but not all MOCs take advantage of it. My DD found out via her portal last year. Accept and get ready.

I am 99.9% sure that you are in. The same thing happened for one of my friends who saw it on their portal before our Congressman came to our school (this happened last year btw) to break the news.
 
Congratulations USMA10932 and to all who have received Appointments
As a parent of a DD who has been 3Q and received MOC nominations we have been waiting for a phone call and looking for the BFE.
You have enlightened us to know that the third way is a status change on the portal, I guess they all lead to the same thing "Appointment Offered"

If Portal says Appointment offered, then congratulations! My son had multiple academy appointments last year, but never heard from a MOC, so that is just the choice of the congressman. It takes several days to get the official appointment in the mail. My son learned he got his appointment to USAFA by noticing it on his portal. For USMA he just happened to be doing his overnight visit in early January, and his RC told him about the appointment. Then he was wait-listed at USNA, but got a call a couple days before we were leaving for R-day at West Point (no thought about changing mind at that point). People find out different ways, but just by seeing it on the portal is common; and ISN'T THAT WHY YOU WERE CHECKING YOUR PORTAL EVERY HALF HOUR ANYWAY? Admit it. LOL

Celebrate! If you feel better calling admissions to confirm, the do so, but enjoy the moment.
 
MOCs are very busy right now...I'm sure they'd like to call, but might not have the opportunity. You're in...congrats!!
