Hi,
Hopefully I am allowed to post this here to help a future applicant!
My daughter used these two books in preparing for her ROTC and Service Academy Admissions applications, and we are offering them up for FREE to anyone who could find them useful. We found them worth every penny we paid for them in that she earned 3 scholarships:
They include invaluable information (that an earlier high school student aspiring to become a military officer, should reference to make sure they are hitting all the requirements solidly). These helped her to prepare for interviews, which leadership activities to highlight in her application and essays, scores/criteria for the fitness tests and how SATs are weighted, and much more.
Although she ended up pursuing only ROTC (decided she wanted a more traditional college experience than SA), she did receive two 4-year scholarships for Navy and Army, and a Type 7 Air Force as a tier 3 major (language, international studies). She attributes a lot of her success in the application as to know what to focus on in essays. These are for the 20-21 application year but much of the materials that are included seem to be similar year to year.
These are FREE to whomever would like! I am happy to meet up (Philadelphia region), OR I can mail them but I ask that you pay for postage only via Venmo or Paypal. Both are paperback and lightweight and would fit in standard yellow enevelope so I don't anticipate it would be more than a few dollars. The books are in good condition - some highlighted text but not too much!
