Official AROTC 2nd Board Winners 2015

Thank you! We couldn't be happier. Still a bit shocked- after growing up in a military family we learned to never take anything for granted! I've checked the dashboard a ton of times to make sure it was still there! Cornell is a beautiful campus and would my DS be honored to be there! How wonderful for your son!!! Might sound like a silly question, but is he happy there?

DS 4 year winner-overjoyed for him! Congratulations to everyone, how proud you must all feel!

Wow, be away from the computer for a few hours and BANG, it lights up.

Congratulations to all the winners, your letter should be in the mail in just a few days. Make sure you read the date on the letter because the 30 days starts from that date. Sheriff gave great advice in regard to getting it in soon if you already know which school your attending, gets you on the Dodmerb radar faster.

For those that did not get the good news, don't fret, one more board to go. Think of it this way, there are not a lot of applicants that have everything in for the first board. There are a huge number of applicants that make the second board, if you were rolled over from the first board you were now added into this new group and a new OML was created. The number of applicants that make only the third board will be no where near the number added to the second board. If your rolled to the third board you will not have nearly as many new applicants to compete with, if you have a solid application you still have a good chance.

From reading some of the posts from those that were not selected this board, you all sound very dedicated and willing to work hard. I bet if you are not offered a scholarship on the next board, you will all work hard enough to have the opportunity to get a scholarship from the battalion, it happens all the time to good cadets.

Good luck to you all.
If you already have a qualified dodmerb are you "done"

Went back throught he listing and tried to make sure folks that got skipped got re-included. Congrats again to all.

Is someone going to consolidate the 1st board and 2nd board lists? It would be a nice reference for next year's prospects.

Where is the thread for the first board? I looked but couldn't find it. I would like to add my DS to the list. He received a 4 year to Marquette, University of Dayton and Loyola Chicago.

It is a few pages back. There was no list started for the first board. I have updated the list to include your son.

If you're wanting schools for the list, you can update DS's with Clarkson University, University of Portland and Santa Clara University.

All good schools, I'm sure a certain ROO from this board will be making his pitch. Clarkson sounds like a great school and program.

Congratulations to your son.

4 year scholarship to University of Maine, Norwich University, and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Prescott! So excited!!!

Sorry I should have been more clear. My DS was awarded his scholarship at the first board.

Thanks. For him it's already a done deal, since he got it on the first board.

Thank You to everyone on this forum. All of you have been a huge help in the process of me getting this scholarship. I am excited beyond words and still haven't fully comprehended it! Also it was amazing because my twin sister was awarded a 4-Year to her first choice as well! As you can imagine my parents are ecstatic! It also feels awesome that the Army is now a family affair!
