I am a junior from new hampshire pursuing an appointment to USNA. I was wondering if anyone could help me with a few questions i have.

I have started to ask my teachers for recommendations for a nomination from my senators, but i have not started the nomination application. I have not started because i have not received an official candidates packet yet.

I was wondering if this is a cause for concern or if i could get one later on in the summer. Also, how do I find out my blue and gold officers name without the candidates packet, or whether i should refrain from contacting him before i become an official candidate.

Any help you guys could give me could give me would be greatly appreciated.
 
Calling USNA won't hurt if you want to know who your blue and gold officer is.
 
My son just got his letter with his candidate number and log-in information on Thursday, so I know they are being sent out. I bet you'll get yours this week!:smile:
