Although it says to wait for someone to reach out to you, isn’t the interview required? The deadline is coming up shortly.

Pay attention to detail. Do as you're instructed. The application process is an exercise in patience and discipline.

My DS was sent an email from WP to contact FFR to schedule the interview. He contacted FFR and they said they were backed up at that time but would be in touch. After a few weeks, he was contacted for his interview and completed it right away.

I have a question related to the topic. I went to SLE and I do not have a box on my documents that list an area for the FFR interview. Is this because at SLE our squad leaders completed an interview form?

I went to SLE as well but had to do both interviews. I’ve heard both sides so I’m not sure if the SLE interview takes it’s place all of the time.

@Zaggs
yeah, the interviews during SLE take place of the FFR interview.
Correct... A second interview will not be required unless a Regional Commander requests one from Field Force.

Separate issue - please do not reach out to any one to request an interview. Means you did not read instructions or cannot follow them. Field Force goal is to interview everyone that has potential to actually get an offer and attend. Although probably not standard across the board, FF cannot and will not interview everyone, but they start with completed or closely completed files with great potential and further prioritize once nominations come out and we see "passed" on any late minute CFAs.

If it provides any comfort, I already did my interview before they put it on the portal. I had a sit down talk/interview with the West Point regional officer in my area prior to the official interview being posted. Once it was posted on the portal it said I had completed my "Official Interview". So, take it as you will, however, follow the instructions placed out by West Point.
