If it weren't for this forum, I would've had no idea that the app opened January 3rd, for the longest time it said that it was going to open Feb 1st.

That's what I thought as well. On the facebook group it seems y'all are football players. Uh oh :shake:

No water polo players out there?
 
Yeah thats what happened to me too! I though it opened up in February, but found out otherwise from this forum. I'm a swimmer by the way, but no water polo. Sorry.

Glad to hear we were not alone... DS and I thought we were losing it. Had Feb. 1st on the calendar and then just happened to be skimming this thread on Wednesday and realized the application had opened. Texted DS at school so he could get rank/psat score, etc. from his counselor and got the NASS app in that day. THANKS to this forum for the heads up!
 
I applied for the NASS without an ACT, a PSAT, or a SAT score. Do I still have a chance of being accepted?
 
Has anyone received any acceptance/denial letters? I know it's only been 2 weeks since the NASS application opened, but I was curious if USNA had already sent some letters out.
 
I didn't get an acceptance letter until mid-April. It was a bit discouraging; for the longest time I thought I'd been passed over.

Expect the long haul.
 
Decision

I have a dilemma that could potentially be in my hands within the next few weeks. Due to school, I can only attend one Summer Seminar of the three I applied to (USNA, USMA, USAFA). The Naval Academy is my top choice for service academies, so I would like to go to NASS. If I do get accepted to either USAFASS or USMA SLS, should I decline those and risk not going to a seminar but also have a chance to go to my top choice or should I take what I have and go to one of the others? Thank you for any and all responses.
 
Any responses for NASS yet? Hopefully they will start sending out letters soon.
