NOTES
We highly discourage bringing expensive electronic devices such as laptops, IPods, etc. Any other device you might bring cannot have speakers.

The student will be issued four (4) T-shirts, two (2) pairs of shorts, and one Polo Shirt as part of the “daily uniform wear”. They will also be issued a wind breaker and other seminar items; e.g., backpack, pens, etc.

*A slumber bag is normally lightweight, like fleece, and is available at stores like Wal-Mart, Target, etc. They are much easier to pack and handle and are just fine for sleeping in dorm room beds.

Helpful Packing Hints:
1) Use space storage bags (hand-rolled vacuum bags) made for travel.
2) Also putting your toiletries in plastic zip lock bags prevents seepage into clothing.
3) Be sure to check with current airline regulations for luggage and packing.

Wow, a year has already gone by

I was reading the list of items to bring and thinking, "what?....they said not to bring anything (or close to it.)" I then realized you were talking about summer seminar. I can't believe a year has passed since "summer seminar" was top priority in this house.....now it's I-Day. Good luck to all of you going to summer seminar and keep checking this forum because the information is invaluable...and when orientation rolls around next April, you'll meet a lot of the people you've only known by their screen name and avatar.

Mike, I thought exactly the same thing! Was just pondering... wow! Things really changed in two years.
