falcongirl, at 1st I thought that was incredibly nice and welcoming....than I looked and saw your tag....I am sure you are really looking forward to meet them, just not sure they will be looking forward to meeting you.:rolleyes::eek::shake:

Nope, unfortunately that's a typo, I'm IL-16 (and have never played hockey in my life), though there may be a connection still. Did your son go to NASS, Session 1, 2012? I recall sharing a flight with another guy who was shooting for USNA on the way there, even if he ended up in another company during the week.

Thanks for the reply, it makes more sense now-your post threw me. I dont think you saw DS on the plane.
DS was in last squad, of the last platoon, of the last company of the last session at usna nass.

How long did it take everyone to get their letters from the day their app was complete?

I am recently new to this forum through an account, though I have been looking at this forum for months. Anyways I am humbled and proud to say that I received an appointment to the Service Academy!! TX20- Congressional (Assuming)- February 06, 2013

Contratulations on your exciting news. I remember being part of the stalking club last year while my son (now a C4C) awaited that BFE. His news arrived on March 1, 2012 and I can still remember the excitement today! I am so happy for you because I know what an amazing cadet you will be at USAFA with the Class of 2017. I am praying for you and the incoming class of new cadets and SPECIAL prayers for LFry.... You will be there too!!!

If I remember right from last year, it should be around the beginning of March, unless they have changed that too...... Good Luck to all the stalkers!!! I remember this time last year all too well.....
