Well guys, just thought I'd drop in and let you all know that I'm alive and well. I'm posting from my phone which I only have through tomorrow. We graduated from BMT today so there's some exciting news! I could tell a hundred stories, but I think I'll be getting to bed. Ready for the academic year to start!

Trust me, the priors love to share the differences between the two. Key things I've heard from them is that prep school BMT is a lot more physical, you actually have time to eat a whole meal here, and you don't get yelled at as much. My room is right next to three priors so if you have any other questions I'd be glad to ask them for you.
LFry, you are in my son's squad. I've see you guys together in a few shots. Small world.
My son is a Prior, and LFry said it exactly right. My son said it is much harder physically. That's the biggest difference. Also, like was said, meals are longer, and less yelling.
So basically tough, but in different ways. Oh, and much shorter.

Just recivied my LEAD appointment a couple of days ago, just found these forums. I was wondering why I had to arrive a week early before everyone else did, but the 'helping' part does sound good. Stationed out of Wright-Patterson, OH. Intel guy with a couple of awards and coined a couple times.

holy gravedig anyways I've been told by one of the Lt.'s in my squadron that went through the prep school that we will probably help run the 18 day bmt, that could explain having to arrive the week early. Regardless congrats and I hope to see you there.
