the number after the State is for the Congressional District for direct entry Cadet Candidates such as your DD. I have suggested Prior enlisted to post their Air Base, in lieu of their Congressional District.
 
Well, seeing how it is the end of the day, I guess I'll have to wait until tomorrow to hear of any news! :redface:
 
Where do we post that information at? Like how do we add our name to "the list"? Lol, I'm confused :shake:

I discovered this site in the middle of March, but have been too shy to say anything. I want you all to know that your words have been a great comfort to me through this whole process. I thought I was going crazy when the nerves and anxiety started kicking in; it was amazing to see that everyone else was going through the same thing!

I received my TWE about 2 weeks ago, but this morning my portal notified me that I got into the prep school. I'm so excited! However, I literally know nothing about it and I can't find very much information online. When does it start? What is the tuition? Does anybody know this stuff yet?

I just wanted to say thanks for the positive attitudes that so many of you had throughout this tough process! I hope to meet some of you strong leaders someday!

this is a link to the Prep page at the Academy website. P school will probably start about 11 July. After in-processing, you will go through 18 days of Basic Military Training (BMT). Kind of a mini boot camp. If you received a Direct Entry appointment to the Prep School, there is no tuition. In fact, you will receive a small stipend while you are there. Everything you NEED will be provided (uniforms, room and board, etc.) and you will be able to buy things like toiletries, etc at the School.

Congratulations!! this year is uber competitive! It is quite an accomplishment to get accepted to Prep, and, if you don't mess up somehow, you have an extremely good chance of getting an appointment next year to the Air Force Academy Class of 2017!

The last letter I received in my portal was back in November I think. I haven't received any new ones recently. I'm waiting for it to arrive by mail.
