On ROTC portal school of intent, what will happen if you put MJC as first choice?

Curious on how I should now order my school of intent since I am getting ready for 2nd board.

I am applying to Wheaton College, Marion Military Institute, Rutgers and Virginia Tech. I want to compete for a 4/3year but also for an ECP.

You don’t get reboarded, you are on the order of merit list and you will be considered during the second round of scholarship offers. Feel free to reshuffle your list of schools. Not sure it will make much of a difference what order your schools are in. It’s really going to depend where you are on the OML and whether those school’s allocations are “filled” by the time they get down to your name (if they do). At this point I think you are overthinking the process. You need to relax and wait. You should also be working on your plan B. What are you going to do if you don’t get a scholarship offer?

I would apply for the ECP directly within Marion as the ROO told me if I don't get anything 2nd board, he told me I can definitely get a scholarship there as my credentials are better than most there
