Correct me if I'm wrong, but USCGA doesn't appoint based off region, but rather the needs of the academy. I'm from CA too; dont lose hope! It's not over until you receive a TWE.

I’m not really qualified to respond, but I believe the exact numbers can be found on the website. I remember reading a post here somewhere that listed that information, I just can’t remember where

The waiting is hard, but what Is meant to be will be. We’ll keep our fingers crossed, but my DD has a plan B. She said she’ll reapply if she doesn’t get an appointment this year. My stepson got into the USNA on his 2nd try and is excelling.

Waiting is stressful. I check bears den everyday . My son got in the Citadel and is super excited but he really wants to go to USGCA.
