Question about submitting the high school transcript... does it need to be submitted electronically or can DS high school mail it directly to USNA? On the online app it says it's not submitted, which we know, but it has no instruction as to HOW to submit? For some reason it gives an error message when we try to go to the FAQ's...

certified mail

son got an official transcript before he left for the summer academies and sent it certified (signature) mail. it was posted within a wk.

good luck

Transcripts

Have the High School mail it to the Academy Admissions office. Have them put your candidate number on the transcript.

Ok, so as long as it's a certified copy we can send it directly? To the Admissions office I'm assuming with his candidate number included?

ooops-sorry-right. more details would be helpful. We sent it from a highschool envelope -the envelop was sealed and stamped across the back by the high school-so on the front he wrote first and last name and candidate number-took the sealed envelop that had the official transcript (plus some kid of description paper of the high school that the high school included) walked it over to the post office and then he sent it certified signature required mail. (maybe $5.00 or so I think he said). One wk later he got the slip from the post office and about that time it was on the CIS.

our highschool is too broke to mail it themselves. plus we had to pay them for each transcript.
