DD started the online application and it seems very brief with yes/no questions, a few test scores, and such. It this a preliminary application and a more detailed application continues later?

She should have all of the stuff in the pic to do as well as her scores and GPA/ranking. So it will include letters of rec, writing sample (essay) and if I remember right the candidate personal data record took him a long time to complete because it was pretty in depth.

They use the first questionnaire as a screening tool and a more detailed one will be released in July if your DD is upgraded to candidate status. Now is the time to talk to her ALO and admissions counselor and prep for the CFA.

She has communicated with ALO for a year and we went to an AF Admissions Forum recently. This is for Class of 2024 admissions.

All right. Then she just needs to prep for the CFA and start to reach out to her federal representatives to get information on their nomination process.

If this is an application for the class of 2024, then she is filling out the pre-candidate questionaire which is shorter as you mentioned.

Sometime in June or July of this summer, based on her pre-candidate questionaire, her status will change from 'Applicant' to 'Candidate' where the rest of the application which Tucker2023 shared will be released.

Until then, preparing for the CFA is a great use of time, as is completing applications for nominations from your congressperson and senators if they have them available.
