Son's highest Math score was entered incorrectly on his online status. He sent an email on Jan 2. No replies yet (other than a copy of the email he sent)and it's still incorrect on his status page. College board sent all the scores to NROTC. All his SAT results are on his online application and also faxed the unofficial scores to NROTC coordinator/recruiter. Should he send another email? His correct Math score is almost 100 points higher and he's worried this would be missed by the board. Should he send another email? wait or not worry about it? Thanks!

Yes - he should send another email and also worry until it is corrected.
My son had a similar problem; when they added his CR and Math scores they added them up incorrectly (exactly 100 points less). Took a month to get confirmation that they were corrected. I would send an email a week until it was corrected. Good Luck. :thumb:

NROTC status website doesn't always reflect what they have in the main system. We spent two months sending emails, faxes and college board reports only to find out they had the correct SAT scores but the status site is still wrong.

FloridaDad: That's interesting. They (NROTC) claimed that it was the opposite for my son. The PDF file copy of his NROTC application still has the SAT score added incorrectly (added by the local NROTC office) but the status site has the correct scores listed (although not added). Wonder which version is used for the evaluation? Perhaps P-Flying17 could clarify?

Just spoke to Ms. Parker (nice lady) and she was able to look up my son's SAT scores and confirm they were added correctly within the system. You might want to confirm with her.

Already had lots of communications with Ms. Parker and others. The System they us for selection and placement is upto date, she sent me screen shots. The website is still showing old SAT scores.

When you say on-line status, does this mean you can check your credentials on-line. My son is AROTC, not NROTC, it just says he needs to schedule an interview with Professor MS, which we did a while agao....Just curious if there was a way to see his application stats on-line

NROTC uses what is in their system that goes against the overall calculation. You should have received verification that your scores are updated, not everyone will send a screen shot of the update but they will send an email.

For AROTC the last status you will see before getting a scholarship is the interview status.
