Open Thread on NROTC MO Spring Side-load Results

My son found out this morning he received a 3 year MO sideload
Congrats! Would you be willing to ask him to state his statistics? I would also be curious if people know how many from the units where nominated.

1) Purdue/3yr/3.3/Non/PolySci/286
2) VMI/3yr/3.9/Non/History/280/Ground
3) Rutgers/2yr/3.8/Academic Assistant Officer/Criminal Justice/286/Ground

To all of you who have earned a scholarship congratulations!

OK... Congratulations to all. I have got to comment on those listed GPA's and PFT scores - well done!

I made the Dean's list twice back in the day - unfortunately, it wasn't the list you wanted to be on. ;)

DS got bad news this AM that he did not receive a 3yr from this board. He did get a privately endowed memorial scholarship for NROTC participants from the university.

In the interest of triangulating success/failure, he was:
3.3/Armourer/History-Honors/273... Time for PT.

Sorry to hear that. I'll bet he was really close and I am sure that he will be very competitive next year. Congrats to him on the University scholarship.

I am a 3 year MO sideload applicant, unfortunately I did not pick up, was notified yesterday.
3.86/Squad-Leader/Business/275/ground

Was pretty confident, just need to pull up PFT I suppose.

For those who received either good news or bad news, how were you notified? We have been anxiously waiting since October...

This scholarship was for Marine option sideload 2 or 3 year scholarship. This is not for the National 4 year scholarship.
If that is what you are waiting on, I would contact whomever your DS/DS did all their paperwork with.

Still waiting here also for 4yr NROTC MO, interviewed in September! My DS finally wrote to the contact and still has not heard anything, but he is moving forward with plan b and will try again in the fall.
