For those who haven't yet visited one, I highly recommend taking the opportunity to visit an Army installation and see the day-to-day workings of a post.
Last night, I had the honor of showing a young man who will be reporting to R-day in a few weeks around Fort Campbell with his father. It was an eye-opening experience for him and I think he really enjoyed the place (and despite my advice, wants to go to Air Assault school now
).
If anyone is in the KY/TN area and wants to see the place, shoot me a PM. I'd be happy to take any and all comers on the dime tour of the home of the 101st Airborne, 5th Special Forces Group, and the 160th SOAR(A).
