Order of Rolling Admission

Does anyone know if the rolling admissions starts with people who submitted their application first or people who are qualified the most? or neither
 
It is going in order of Majors, Engineering majors first. After that I don’t know the order. At least that is what I was told.
 
Congrats to all. I wonder if it's safe to conclude that since DD saw another appointment on this forum today from her desired major that she was not selected (if notification went by major)?

I'm in the same boat, but from what I have heard, don't fret or make any conclusions until you hear. Majors are a definite part of admissions, but at least from what I've seen here tonight, (a variety of STEM majors so far and a September 2nd applicant submission date), they are doing things in order of their queue on a first come first serve basis.

I was previously told at CFAD that as soon as you click submit on your application (essays, and answered all questions) you're lined up in the queue to be reviewed. Your spot in the queue isn't dependent on when the recommenders submit their letter.

Same boat here, submitted my application September 29 for a cyber systems major and have not heard anything yet, getting nervous now and that certainly won't help with my finals tomorrow.

Dont worry do well on your finals enjoy your holiday. Its your senior year enjoy it stay healthy and out of trouble ;) No news means you are still in the running. CGAS golden ticket and you just might slip in before. Wait List- keep up your good thoughts, just have a back up plan ready. It has happened just about every year applicants come off wait lists and CGAS and get bumped up.

So, is the order that notifications are being made in completely unrelated to when application was submitted?

Will a formal denial come December 23rd, or could it come anytime if one were to get it?
 
Ok. New here. My son was told last week while at cadet for a day program that his app will be up for review early this week. So, don’t despair! I think that there are some still in review. 🙏🏻 Also, was told that typically they notify on Friday’s. Typically. Love this forum. Brings some comfort and understanding to this process.
