Organizing a facebook group for SLE attendees?

Hi there,

Congratulations to those who have already been offered a spot at West Point SLE! (To those who haven't heard, best of luck). I know there have been Facebook groups made in the past for those attending (to get to know each other and socialize before the program).

I was wondering if anybody knew of a group that was already made for the 2014 program. If not, I'd love to get to know some fellow attendees beforehand. (I don't know anybody else who's going). So please feel free to PM me.

Hi Usma5627 and anyone else accepted into the second session,

The Facebook group is a "closed" group that can be found by searching SLE '14 session 2 in the Facebook search bar. Send a request to join the group, and I will then verify it.

I've also emailed some admissions people from USMA to ask if they'll help promote the group on their Facebook page, or maybe if they'll create their own official one for SLE, that'd be great too.

Issue Finding FB Page

Hey, I am a recently accepted/offered candidate for the SLE '14. I was interested in finding people who likewise were accepted, and I think the Facebook page is a great idea.
However, when I searched your specifications in the FB search bar, no relevant results popped up.
I was wondering if there was an issue with the page, or if I am missing some piece of information. Maybe providing a link to the page on this thread may help in the finding of the FB Group.
Thanks for starting a page, hopefully I will be able to join it soon!

Sorry about that! The facebook search bar can be odd at times...
I was unable to post a link initially because I didn't have enough posts on the forum, but now that I do...
