Orientation Dinner April 25 Sign Up

Looks like we might be fortunate enough to take this weekend to reflect.
 
I think it's ridiculous to punish the whole wing for the carelessness of a few, and SAMI/PAI scores have nothing to do with what got us into trouble in the first place. The punishment is not relevant to the crime...it simply generates more negativity.
 
Hi all,

It looks like we won't be having any cadets at this dinner. We can still get together and visit as fellow appointees and parents. It will be a bit smaller than usual, but I'm sure we will all have a good time. There are now 52 people coming, if you are signed up, be sure to show up.

Good luck, y'all. I have heard a few rumors, sorry to hear them actually. I agree to punish all for the sins of the few.... that is the way of the military I have to say. I will keep my fingers crossed because we are certainly looking forward to having all of y'all there to talk to!!

saturday morning inspection/personal appearance inspection=LOTS AND LOTS AND LOTS OF UNENDING FUN!!! remember when your mom told you to clean your room? well now your mom is a general...and its gotta be perfectly clean:biggrin::biggrin::biggrin:
 
there's a lot more going on here than simply "mass punishment for the mistakes of a few". i do not feel this is the forum nor the thread to discuss it. if would like, PM me and we can e-mail back and forth or meet face to face to talk about it.

and as for Sunday, i plan on being there unless i decide to do one of my 6 projects i still have due...
 
So you're allowed to leave or how does that work?

Well, looks like my squadron actually did better than we had originally expected, even with a certain stan/eval staff member from CS-40 failing two rooms. It's not for certain yet, but I might be able to sign out.
 
i can go this time, how are the rest of you guys getting there? I'd like a ride if possible :p
 
I currently have raimius and cranoorden riding with me. I have two more seats if anyone wants a ride. (eagle isn't feeling too well, hehehe)
 
Thank you everyone for coming. I had a great time at all 3 dinners and met some amazing cadets who were willing to share valuable wisdom and insight. I hope everyone enjoyed their dinner, and I hope those tonight enjoy the rest of orientation. It was an honor to meet many of my future classmates.
