Overnight Visit

You should wear khakis and a sport shirt to class.

mom3boys. to answer the huh you had about what i'd said.

when i went up to WP last spring for the daily visit, i started out in a briefing room of sorts. there were a number of kids there for their overnight visit. all of them were guys and they were dressed quite nicely (slacks and varsity lettermans for most). i just considered khakis a bit too casual for the crowd i saw there...at least for me. also, i don't really know what a "sports shirt" is. so i was just wondering what the female equivalent of the suggested dress code would be.

sorry for any confusion!

etaylor - that was my confusion - sorry! I thought you meant what was the female equivalent of a cadet - haha. my bad.

Anyway - just wear what you wore last year. Khakis or slacks and a nice sweater or blouse is fine. You don't have to wear a skirt if you are not comfortable.
It may be quite cold and you may be doing a lot of walking.
My daughter wore khakis and was fine.
You might want to bring some sweats for hanging around the room and to sleep in. My cadet hangs around her room in sweats.

oops! sorry didn't mean to identify the wrong person! thanks Just A Mom! I was just hoping the answer to my question wouldn't be a skirt. you right...i'm sure its freezing there! i'd rather not have been walking around in that!

thanks for your help!
