Overnight Visit

Hello all,

I was appointed to the USMA class of 2026 several weeks ago and I just scheduled an overnight visit for February 10th. I had a few questions regarding the agenda, as the information follow-up email was slightly confusing.

1) Just to double check, the overnight stay occurs at the end of 2/10, and "Day 2" is 2/11 for me, correct?
2) The information email states that on Day 1, we have lunch from 11:55-12:45, but does not include any other agenda following lunch for this day. What occurs for the remainder of Day 1?
3) The email also states that candidates and families return to Building 606 at 12:45 on Day 2. Do I just follow my paired cadet for formation, breakfast, and classes in the morning?
4) Besides the parent tour on Day 1, does my parent ever join me for an on-campus event (ex. a meal in the mess hall)? I am aware that my parent's meals are not covered, so do they just return back to their hotel and wait until 12:45 on Day 2 to meet back up with me?

We went on one in December. We went to Building 606 together for a briefing & then my son was met by his cadet & remained with him until the next day at 12:30 or so. We followed the cadets schedule for meals, classes, etc. Parents had some more briefings & went on a tour of campus before departing around lunch time. We returned the next day to pick him up.
