I have my Senator's principal nomination and my MALO has told me my candidate status was moved up to "admissible." I have not received an appointment nor have I heard anything else. Someone who got my representative's nomination has already been offered an appointment. What is going on? I plan to call someone, somewhere on Friday.

I'm sort of in the same boat. I was my MOCs P Nom. Been qualified, haven't had an issue. Medically qualified since December, never needed a waive. Nom reported in December too. Never had problem with CFA or academics. Didn't hear anything in the first wave. The nerves have definitely built up

My understanding from DD's conversation with RC, you would have to have been 3Q'd before that first wave even with a principal nomination. DD received her fully qualified letter on the 17th (same day they went out) so she had no chance of being included. It all comes down to when your file was actually reviewed by board and officially deemed fully qualified.

Sit tight. Your file has not gone before the admissions committee. Admissible is one of the terms used to categorize a file - it is a good sign. The admissions committee meets every Tuesday and your file has to wait its turn in the queue. Nothing you do will speed it up.

Submit any additional relevant information that becomes available (new test scores, grades, etc) and continue to check your portal for any new information - especially any green checks that turn to red checks (not likely, but possible). All you can do at this point is wait.

So since they review on Tuesdays, people should be receiving BFE's on like Fridays, Saturdays, Mondays? Guessing they're still sending via priority mail and send BFE's a day or so after appointed, not aware if that's the case though

Not necessarily. First they notify the MOC. Then there is usually a 3 day delay to give the MOC time to contact the candidate before loading appointment in the portal or sending BFE. Often portal is updated before BFE is received.

Thank you for the information!

So does everyone get a qualified letter or do some people get nothing before the BFE or TWE? My DS is all green in his portal and has a p nom but has not received anything telling him he is 3q'd

I've read that some RC's don't send them, but if you are in MO I believe you may be in same admissions team area as my DD and she received one in her portal.

I'm South East and just got it a week ago. It may be delayed. I'd actually been officially 3Q'd for like a month before I got the letter in my portal. Part of that was probably due to the holidays though

I'm on the same boat :/ I have a p nom & I've had all green checkmarks for a while now but never received a 3Q letter. I'm trying to force the nervousness down because I know I'm just going to get the "just wait" lecture.

My DD received no communication about her status before she received her appointment on the 21st. Only thing she had was a congratulatory email from her RC about her nomination and then states that this in no way guarantees her an appointment. She even has a red X for 7th semester grades so you just never know.

My DD did not receive a "qualified letter" but she got her LOA on August 8. She received Senatorial nomination in December and she was informed of her Congressional nomination via early part of January. She received her BFE on Jan 17, a day before the Congressional nomination was posted on her portal. Her Senatorial nomination was posted sometime in December on her portal.

So my DS reached out to his RC and was told his file was being evaluated for qualification. I was hoping it would be further along but it is what it is. Did I mention that waiting is hard? :)

I had a P nom got a 3q'd letter and my offer of appointment all in the same week or so. Not really sure why mine came so quickly but am very thankful.

My DS, P-Nom, received his "qualified letter" from his RC on Monday, Feb 6th, in his portal. Still no change, waiting is hard. Hope we all hear soon, Good Luck.

I'm currently a Cadet at the Academy, and received a P-nom on top of being 3Q'd. You will be accepted, just as I was, but you may just have to wait a little longer. Waiting hurt, but know that you've done everything you can to be admitted, and there is nothing else for you to do. Except for push-ups, do lots and lots of push-ups.

I've heard (however mostly on USNA threads) that a principal nom and 3Q does NOT guarantee an appointment. Is that only true for USNA? Or was it false info in the first place, and a p nom plus 3Q anywhere is a guaranteed appointment? Just curious.
