Service Academy Forums was great at offering a perspective during our DD journey from initial interest entering highs school, to fully qualified but not appointed, to an AOG scholarship used at NWP, and finally with an appointment to the class of 2024 at USMA.

@ccparent2024 We are Louisiana residents but our son is attending USMAPS this coming year. Looking at the membership options seems like this would be helpful to him but is this open only to those MD/DC/VA residents?
 
@salacia Thanks for checking out the site! The biggest benefit is the cadet bus service for the year, it's a service that we offer from West Point to stops along interstate 95 in our area during breaks and leave (bus also makes the return trip north from our area to West Point after the break). Hi, everyone! I'm a parent of a CC for USMAPS 2022! My son just accepted his offer in his portal last week. Very excited for him. :)

Does anyone know if those who have received an appointment to USMAPS will receive a formal certificate of sorts in the mail - what many refer to as the BFE for USMA? (I'm sure it would be slightly modified in contents....)

Yes, the BFE should arrive in the mail for USMAPS as well - just received mine this afternoon. Congrats to your DS!

My DS accepted his appointment to USMAPS on Mar 1. Received the most wonderful certificate in mail today!
