I scheduled my DODMERB exams as early as possible. Both my parents can't make it to the Medical Exam. I am 17, is that a problem?

It might be. Call the office where you will have the exam and ask.

For me it was. I had to have a parent come and sign some forms before they were allowed to perform the exam.

For DD, the vision and hearing offices did not require an adult, even though one of us accompanied her - we called to ask them ahead of time. But, for the medical exam, one parent was required to sign forms since she was only 17.
The point is to call the medical exam office ahead of time to check, it may be that you can pick up a form ahead of time for your parent(s) to sign that you can then take with you and not need their presence during the actual exam day.

Thanks all, I called the office and changed my appointment. Unfortunately my parents availability cost me three weeks. Thank you again

Don't worry, it is still early in the process. DD did not have her exam until October.

Your medical will not impact when the SA reviews your application. It is early in the process so you have no worries.

Good luck.
