What an experience! Amazing football game! Very comfortable and welcoming atmosphere....lots of time with my son. Greared up on USMMA stuff. Can't wait to go back and visit. Proud to be a part of USMMA and happy to see my son so proud and happy.

Everything appeared to run smoothly (kudos to all those behind-the-scenes folks who could have been tearing their hair out, but we didn't notice anything bad).
Could have done without the rain on Friday, but 'whatcha-gonna-do?'
And Thank You to all the parents, midshipmen, and guests... a great time had by all.
And a very special thank you to the Mariner Soccer and Mariner Football teams, for delivering a very special birthday present to Thad Allen from Coast Guard ... two losses for them to drive back home with (yeah, yeah, Luigi... the volleyball team did its duty to make sure CGA wasn't skunked
(smiles) ). Hats off to a great struggle on the field, for both sides.

a special thanks to all the parents that took mids and plebes under their wing when said students' parents couldn't make it out. i know as one such mid it was greatly appreciated! thanks again!
Brought picnic lunches and dinners
A 2c parent recommended to bring picnic lunches/dinners with us for our plebe and friends. We were fortunate to be driving to KP and to have a frig in our hotel room. We had a GREAT time meeting our DS's friends. The cost was probably close to Delano tickets but I would have paid double. They were so appreciative of being able to hang out and eat with us. We did have to stop at the Stop and Shop to restock but it was well worth it! One mom stopped us at the football game to tell us that she almost came over to join us and will be bringing picnics in the future.
