hi!! my boyfriend is going to usma West Point and i wanted to surprise him (with the permission of his parents) and come see him for parents weekend in October, but I don’t know if there will be restrictions like there were for A-day. does anyone know if I should still buy tickets or if I should wait? they are getting pretty pricey but I’m not sure what’s going to happen.
thanks!

As of now, no official word on specific restrictions yet. It’s still a go.
However, I would make sure you have a copy of your vaccination card with you. Take a pic of it so you have on your phone to show at any moment. Have a hard copy of the card on your person too.

Get a visitor's pass at the visitor center before you try to come on post. For significant others they last a year and you will be able to get on much more efficiently.

I believe the Visitor Center hours are 0600 to 2200. It's located down the stairs as you enter the main gift shop.

Looks like still a go as of today.

It was announced the cadet areas would be off limits so I guess can’t see the barracks room or eat with them in the cadet mess like it was in fall 2019.

Still lots of activities planned. I would still bring proof of vaccination.
