Which parts of the ACT does USNA use? I know that USMMA only uses Math and English, no Reading and Science.
Many candidates take the SAT, not the ACT and admissions handles them just fine. The ACT is an alternative test and admissions uses the segments that correlate to the SAT. That is the English and Math sections. You already have this in writingThis is from the Candidate Guidance in your portal: The Naval Academy Admissions Board uses the highest critical reading score for SAT or the English score for ACT and the highest math scores from all the SAT or ACT tests taken by the candidate. I was on an admissions call with DD las week and someone asked this very questions. The AC thought that the board considered all segments of the ACT, so we are confused and curios as well. Would love to have someone with more certain knowledge chime in.
