Do you know how you will tape? You will need to read the Mid Regs on height weight. Have someone measure you according to the standards. Going to be totally honest... I don’t know you and you could be totally ripped and an Ironman Triathlete for all know, but we hear this a lot. Living on the edge of height and weight will make life much much harder as a Mid. I watched Mids struggle with this on several occasions and it makes a tough schedule even worse. Also, the freshman 15 that many joke around can happen to Mids too, especially after Plebe Summer. It’s because they are now eating in King Hall, snacks from Mid store, sugar drinks to stay awake. Don’t pick up bad habits. Many Plebes will start lifting a lot and taking supplements, but don’t lose your cardio. Tape yourself, know where you are. The tape test isn’t a very accurate measurement, but it’s the standard (unless something changed). You could be super Mid, but regs are regs, so know the standards and where you fall within them.
