Hi everyone,

I had a few questions regarding the PCQ and I just wanted to see if anyone could help. Firstly, how long should it take to complete the PCQ? Also, I was just curious about how one would not be granted candidate status after completing the PCQ. Any help/advice would be awesome and thank you for your help!

I forgot how long it took me but it wasn't too long. Longer than probably most due to my perfectionist coming out. I would say made an hour to an hour 30 at most including checks and edits.

They ask for GPA if you're GPA is too low I would assume this could be disqualifing. By that I would mean something below a 2.5-2. The reason I say this is because some athletes get in with a 2.7- 3.0 and go to the prep school, however too low of a score might prove to the admissions team that the academy isn't for you. Also you could be disqualified if you don't met the age requirement, or married/ with dependents.

That's all I can think of. If you do have a lower gpa, still fill it out. Worst thing that can happen is you get told no you can't continue on and you go be great at another school.

Alright, thanks!!

Hi! I'm currently having trouble in PCQ. I live abroad and for me to get my PCQ, I need to register in the portal. The problem is that they are looking for SSN, which I don't have since I'm not a U.S citizen. Am I going to just leave it blank? I hope someone can help me with this one. Thankyou in advance :)

Ah - I just replied to your other post in the other thread

As a non-U.S. citizen, you apply as an international student according to your country’s arrangement with the U.S., if there is one.

Start by googling “US Air Force Academy international students.” Different process. You do not request nominations from elected officials.

Pause and do some research. Foreign national cadets sponsored by their home country earn a Bachelor of Science degree but do not commission in the U.S. Air Force. They usually owe a period of time in military or government service in their home country.
